An Airbnb favorite in Durban – Numzaan Yacht
I bet you never thought this type of accommodation option existed in the very city, that nearly every South African has visited.

During May of last year, AirBNB hosted me, MzansiGirl, Eager Journeys, The Tipsy Gypsy, Blacks do Swim, Becoming You(Simplyb), and the Solowander on this gorgeous Yacht @ the Royal Natal Yacht Club in Durban.
This was part of our #travelford and #tmroadtrip campaign we were involved in at the time. The guys and girls on the trip decided to trade roles for the night, we opted for the yacht life and the guys opted for luxury at a local hotel and spa.
I can’t even begin to explain to you how much fun we girls got up to! It was a wild and crazy night while we sipped on our glasses of champagne whilst admiring the breathtaking sunsets. In the evening we indulged in a South African braai at the yacht club, and once back on the yacht we enjoyed light-hearted conversations and danced the night away.
The next morning we woke up at the crack of dawn to this amazing sunrise that presented beautiful reflections of the whole city.
Inside the Yacht
The yacht can comfortably sleep up to 8 people between the 4 rooms with king-sized beds. It also has a lounge, a kitchenette, and two bathrooms for your comfort.
If you would like to spend a night on the yacht you can book directly on Airbnb’s website:
